The state BJP will soon file an RTI on the implementation of central schemes in the state.
Speaking to The Meghalayan, state BJP president Ernest Mawrie said, “We will soon file RTIs for doubtful constituencies, which will reveal whether the central schemes are implemented in letter and spirit.”
He said that the RTI queries will be filed in all constituencies by the party starting from the leaders in the state BJP wing, the district office-bearers and the mandal.
Informing that the state office-bearers’ party meeting was held on Monday, he said, “The meeting also discussed about highlighting the central schemes to the public such as PM Kisan and others. We want the public to know about these schemes.”
On the other hand, he also informed that the meeting sought report from the party workers in charge of the district. There was also a discussion on the 2023 general elections to form committees and come up with a manifesto.
