SHILLONG:
South Shillong legislator Sanbor Shullai, on October 13, informed that he has received requests from the general public and Puja Committees for speedy completion of road, drainage and other infrastructure works before the Puja festivals in Laban.
Briefing media persons, Shullai said that he has discussed the new sanction of PWD roads, additional water supply in the municipal area.
“Next week before the pujas we will be holding a meeting in the Laban area, wherein all the contractors who have been allotted work orders for various projects will be asked to expedite the work,” he said.
