SHILLONG:
Meghalaya’s prestigious beauty pageant, Miss Meghalaya, will be held in September this year.
Auditions will be held on August 20 at Youth Hostel, Lower Lachumiere from 10 am onwards.
The participants should be of a minimum height of 5.3 ft, a citizen of Meghalaya and below 25 years of age.
The winner of the pageant will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, while the first and second runner-ups will get Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.
Besides cash prizes, the winner and the first runner-up will get a chance to represent the state in the Miss North East 2022 beauty pageant which will be held in the first week of October in Kohima.
