Paraladei Smit, Lamare FC make it to semis

Former ISL player who played fror the side Lamare SC grabbed the spotlight, whereas, man-of-the-match was awarded to Donbor Nongkynrih and the award was handed by Secretary Shnong Lemthaw Smit.

Paraladei Smit defeated Laitkyrhong SC 3-0 to make it to the semi-final stage of the 1st Shortimai Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Seng Samla Smit Pyllun & Smit Sports Club, played on Friday.

 

For Paraladei Smit, Wanlamsuk Nongkhlaw scored a goal in the 22nd minute, and Figo Syndai scored two goals in the 62nd minute and 80th minute.

The man-of-the-match was awarded to Figo Syndai and the award was handed by Rangbah Shnong Lemthaw Smit. In the second quarter-final, Lamare SC overcame Galaxy Pynursla by 1 goal to secure the semi-final spot. It was a tight game between the two teams but Brolington Warlarpih managed to find the net in the 21st minute to get his team home.

The third and fourth quarter-finals of the tournament will be played on April 4 between Youngstar FC vrs Real Mythics at 11:00 am and Umphrup SC will take on Khliehmawlieh Nongstoin at 2:00 pm.
