Tiklu Jyrwa was one of several mountaineers who went missing on October 4 after an avalanche hit them on Droupadi Ka Danda in Uttarkashi.

Last remains of mountaineer Tiklu Jyrwa will reach Shillong on October 9, the family members informed. According to H. Lyngdoh the sister-in-law of Jyrwa, his body was identified by his brother-in-law Wallambok Lyngdoh on Saturday morning.

Lyngdoh said that currently formalities are being conducted and the last rites will probably be held on Monday.
