The inaugural ceremony of the training center commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by senior member of Shubham Jethi Devi, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, Guru Vandana, and a lively showcase of songs and dances.
As a society registered under the Society Registration Act of Meghalaya, Shubham has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, showcasing commendable service in Skill Development, Community Development, Rural Welfare, Health and Hygiene, and Reusable Sanitary Pads. With a remarkable outreach of 23,000 beneficiaries and counting, Shubham continues to make a positive impact.
Maini D Shira, MLA of Ampati, Garo Hills, graced the occasion as the chief guest and was honored by the president and other senior members. Founder and President, Pushpa Bajaj, shared inspiring words on community upliftment and the organization’s dedication to social services, followed by the Chief Guest’s address.
Shubham’s executive member Meenakshi Bajoria, while conducting the forum, threw light on the service work done by Shubham.
Notably, Shubham distributed Handicraft Artisan cards under DC Handicraft, in addition to presenting training completion certificates to the candidates on the same day.
The program concluded with expressions of praise from both members and students, followed by a shared lunch and snacks for all attendees. Shubham Charitable Association remains committed to its mission of making a meaningful difference in the community.
