AGARTALA:

In a bid to abolish inequality in the education system of the state, the government introduced a scheme to provide quality education to everyone.

Named ‘Mission 100 Vidyajyoti Scheme’, the scheme is expected to be a game-changer for the education sector of the state, said Culture Affairs Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, on April 29.

“Vidyajyoti project will bring a new revolution in the field of education in our state. This scheme will play an important role in abolishing inequalities in education in our state and will modernise the system,” Chowdhury said.

The state government has taken initiative by identifying 100 schools in the state and converting them under Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) by bringing them under the scheme.

Chowdhury further said that the teachers in Tripura not only consider their profession as a duty, but also as a moral obligation of human compassion. And this is why apart from professional relationships, teachers and students often form familial bonds in the state.

“This relationship lasts until their last breath. At this time, our teachers also need to be aware of new systems and technical aspects, which are evolving over time. Teachers should play a leading role in sports as well as studies. This will inspire the students and encourage many talented ones to choose sports as their career in the near future,” he added.
