NONGPOH:
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma along with Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong welcomed former Umsning MLA Jason S Mawlong, former MDC Donkupar Sumer and several other leaders to National People’s Party (NPP) at a programme held at Umsning Patarim playground on January 6.
The induction ceremony was also attended by Rajya Sabha MP W R Kharlukhi, MLAs and MDCs.
Speaking at the programme, the chief minister said, “We welcome Jason Mawlong and all the leaders and supporters in the party.”
He further said that NPP-led MDA government has always worked in the interest of the people of the state, adding “The objective of the party is to make the state economically strong. NPP works for the benefit of the state and its people and that’s why many political leaders want to join the NPP.”
Many opposition party will say many things about the party they will trying to bring out many negetive issues they will try to bring communal colour, but you can throw stone at us throw mud at us, but our party are not that believe in negetive comments we are the positive thinking political parties,no matter what negative lies, or Communal lies you are trying to discriminate but our party is still strong and which believe in taking everybody along, no matter what you try to bring us down but it will be the National People’s party that will come again in power in 2023 general assembly election.
Jason S. Mawlong in his speech said why he chooses the party to contest in his next election is that this is the only government that’s work for the people this is the government for the people, he is very much thankful to this NPP led Government that in these 5 years whenever he meet the leaders for the development of his Constituency they never ignore him but has help him in many ways for the betterment of his Constituency and his is confident that this time also people from his Constituency will choose him will choose the NPP to gain more power in Meghalaya this year.
