SHILLONG:
Thirteen persons were arrested for their alleged involvement in an arson attack at Rymbai Village in East Jaintia Hills on the evening of March 8.
According to the Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills, one Deishim Lamurong of Rymbai Synrang Sakhian was caught red handed by the public while committing the crime, whereas his associate fled away.
Further, another person identified as Heeisalon Dkhar, an employee of MeECL control room was suspected to be involved in the incident as he tripped the electricity line before the house was set on fire.
