TURA:
Two Bangladeshi nationals who deliberately entered India through the Garo Hills border in search of jobs were apprehended by BSF personnel in the Purakhasia border of South West Garo Hills on April 30.
The duo Md Habibullah (31) from Netrakona district and Md Jahangir Mia (35) from Noakhali district, both inside Bangladesh, were intercepted by border guards after they were spotted moving along the border.
During questioning the two infiltrators could not provide any substantial reason for being present in the area and later confessed to having crossed the border with support from another Bangladeshi residing in Sherpur town who allegedly took money from them with the assurance of getting them jobs and false documents to remain in India.
