90 per cent work under vision document completed in Tripura: CM Deb

The CM attended a meeting with mandal, district presidents, MLAs, and ministers of seven assembly constituencies and collected the details of pending development works.

AGARTALA:

With just about a year left for Tripura Assembly Election, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has claimed that his government has completed 90 per cent of all the promises of the vision document which was released before the 2018 state assembly election.

“I have already held a review meeting on the Vision Document. More than 90 percent of works have been completed, including water supply, development of national highways and other works which were not mentioned in the vision document. We have done more than what was mentioned in the vision document,” Deb said, after attending a meeting with mandal, district presidents, MLAs, and ministers of seven assembly constituencies on February 28, and collected the details of pending development works,” Deb said.

“A few days back we held a review meeting with all mandal, district presidents, MLAs, and officials of concerned departments. Those who couldn’t attend the previous meeting, came today. The main agenda of the meeting was about the development as the budget session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is coming. I have collected the details from them about all the pending development works and works that have already been completed,” he further added.

When asked about the Vision Document which was released ahead of the 2018 assembly poll with a number of promises, the chief minister claimed that more than 90 per cent of works of the vision document were completed.
