AITC holds state-level party meeting

Sangma highlighted the party’s vision to empower the people of state and briefed about the recently launched WE Card under the Meghalaya Financial Inclusion for Women Empowerment Scheme (MFI WE).

All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) on December 19 held a state-level party meeting which was chaired by Mukul Sangma at Tura in West Garo Hills District.

 

Sangma highlighted the party’s vision to empower the people of state and briefed about the recently launched WE Card under the Meghalaya Financial Inclusion for Women Empowerment Scheme (MFI WE).

 

“As a political party, it is our responsibility and binding obligation to carry out the promises made in the manifesto once we receive the mandate to form the government and it is the spirit of democracy,” he said.

 

He also added, “It is an unconditional scheme and has been curated keeping in mind the heavy losses that the state economy suffered due to the pandemic, alongside misgovernance and several scams perpetrated by the current NPP-led MDA government.”

 

All aspiring candidates across Garo Hills, sitting MLAs, Ex-MLAs, MDCs, Ex-MDCs, Block Presidents, District Presidents, District Coordinators and District Convenors were present at the event.
