Army Public School shines in Class X, XII results

Several laurels have been brought to the school by the achievement of many students.

SHILLONG:

Maintaining the legacy of excellence and commitment, Class X and XII students of Army Public School Shillong performed very well in the All India Secondary School Examination and All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2022 conducted by CBSE. In Class X, out of 100 students who appeared the examination this year, 24 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate. Whereas, in Class XII, 33 students out of 164 students scored 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate.

In Class X, Tanuska Chakraborty secured first position in the school by scoring an aggregate of 97.6 per cent marks. She scored 100 out of 100 marks in English Language & Literature. Trishla Singh secured second position by scoring an aggregate of 97 per cent marks. She scored 100 out of 100 in Science. Karishma Khatri secured third position with 96.6 per cent marks in aggregate. She scored 100 out of 100 in Standard Mathematics.

From Class XII, Sainava Modak topped the Science stream by scoring aggregate of 97 per cent marks. He scored 100 out of 100 in Chemistry and Computer Science. Siddhant Purkayastha secured second position in Science stream by scoring 96.6 per cent marks and Debasmita Chakraborty secured third position with 96.2 per cent marks in aggregate. She also scored 100 out of 100 in Computer Science.

In Humanities, Shorashi Chokhani topped by scoring an aggregate of 96.2 per cent marks. She scored 100 out of 100 marks in Geography. Gauri Bhardwaj secured second position by scoring 94.4 per cent marks in aggregate and Kimboi Hauzel secured third position with 93.2 per cent marks in aggregate.

In Commerce, Pragya Sharma topped by scoring an aggregate of 93.4 per cent marks, Pranav Sharma secured second position by scoring an aggregate of 92.8 per cent marks and Debasree Dhar secured third position with 92.4 per cent marks in aggregate.

Several laurels have been brought to the school by the achievement of many students. Divyendu Kashyap of Class XII secured 100 out of 100 marks in Chemistry, Kelly Sharonia Langstieh of Class XII scored 100 out of 100 marks in Biology, Shubhangi Singh of Class X scored 100 out of 100 marks in Science and Rikynti Kharkongor of Class X scored 100 out 100 marks in English Language and Literature.

The SAMC (School Administration and Managing Committee), Principal, Vice Principal and the staff of the school congratulated the students of Class X and XII for their excellent performance in the board examination.
