Around 30 capped langurs spotted at Tuber Kmai Shnong

The villagers of Tuber Kmai Shnong in the East Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya have spotted more than 30 capped langurs at Khloo Chnong (the protected village forest).

The headman of the village, Micky Lyngdoh informed that these monkeys came into the village a few days ago and seem to be friendly with people.

These videos were taken by a resident of this village on July 6.

He also informed Tuber Kmai Shnong has restricted the killing of any kind of animal and has protected the forest areas since time immemorial.
