The Ampati Degree College in South West Garo Hills district held an awareness cum-reach-out programme on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for students of Class XII and BA sixth Semester on the premises of the college on April 25.
Addressing the program, the principal of the college Mamunur RM Willy highlighted the necessity of CUET for higher education.
“It is a strong challenge for the students of the region, but we must overcome all the limitations to keep pace with the changes in the education sphere,” he said.
Willy further said that the first challenge is to enrol all the students of Class XII into the portal and prepare for the examination, and he went on to give the names of the websites to visit for updates on syllabus, dates and examination centres.
The programme was attended by the lecturers of the college and the heads of higher secondary schools of South West Garo Hills district and also had an elaborate discussion on the implementation of CUET 2022, which would “benefit the aspiring students by helping them to understand the nature of the entrance test”.
