Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Ernest Mawrie, on December 16, announced that the party has constituted the election management committee for the upcoming state assembly elections in 2023.
Speaking to media persons, Mawrie said that the party has constituted an election management committee which will be headed by MLA, A.L Hek as the convener and David Kharsati, Rikmann Momin and Rupam Goswami as co-conveners.
He added that the party has also constituted the election office (liasoning with election department) which will be headed by David Kharsati as the convener and Nitin Khera, Sharad Bawri and Bokul Ch Hajong as co-conveners.
“The party has constituted the Call Centre with G.C Nongbet as convener and Sujata Bhandari as co-conveners whereas for the office management, the party has appointed Arandati Paul as convener and Deepika Dey as co-convener” said Mawrie.
Mawrie further added that the party has constituted the security department with Nitin Khera as convener and Raju Limbu as co-convener and in the media department, the party has appointed H.M Shampliang as convener and Pramod Jain and Ankur Kumar as co-conveners.
He added that in the media relation, the party has appointed Dipayan Chakraborty as its convener and Ankur Kumar, Justice Syiem and Daullat Marak as it’s co-conveners and for the legal matter and election committee, the party has appointed advocate S.P Mahanto as it’s convener and Mewaker Lyngdoh as co-convener.
In the literature printing department, the party has appointed Pawan Sharma as its convener and Swapan Paul, Arundathi Paul and Ral Shabong as co-conveners, whereas for th publicity department, the party has appointed Gagan Jain as its convener and Bipin Pradhan and Sabnam Sahi as its co-conveners.
The party has also appointed Arvind Yadav as the convener and Arun Kumar as co-convener in the vehicle and helicopter charted flight and in the tour programme, the party has appointed G.C Nongbet for national leaders and Dayanand Singh for state leaders.
In the ad Campaign (All Type), the party has appointed Gagan Jain as its convener and Euncescy Khyriem as co-convener whereas in the resource department, the party has appointed cabinet minister Sanbor Shullai as its convener and MLA A.L Hek as its co-convener.
In the accounts department, the party has appointed Sarwan Jhunjhunwala as its convener and Ashok Singhania as its co-convener and in the manifesto committee, the party has appointed minister Sanbor Shullai as its convener and former MLA H.M Shanpliang, Lakhon Biam, MDC Bernard Marak, Edmund K Sangma, Bashailang Khongwir, Kharawbok Basaimoit and Krison Langstang as its co-conveners.
In the hightech campaign and social media department, the party has appointed Bernadette Lyngdoh as its convener and Pramod Jain as its co-convener whereas for guest protocol and arrangement, the party has appointed Arvind Prasad Yadav as its convener and Wilbard Dangoo, Wankit Poshna as its co-conveners and in the mahila karya department, the party has appointed Judy Surong as its convener and Darihun Marbaniang and Rakhi Sangma as its co-conveners.
