NONGPOH:
A 15-year-old boy was killed after a tree fell on a house in Umling, Ri Bhoi, on Monday.
The deceased teenager has been identified as Benejid Hasdah (15) while the father, mother, and sister were seriously injured.
After receiving the information the village Headman called the emergency and rescue team. The injured persons were taken to a hospital while the body of Hasdah has been sent for Post mortem at Civil Hospital, Nongpoh.
The villagers informed The Meghalayan that the tree that fell at the house was decayed.
