GUWAHATI:
The Border Security Force (BSF) Guwahati Frontier has once again foiled an attempt by a narcotics smuggler trying to ferry Yaba tablets along the Indo-Bangladesh border on July 13.
Acting on specific intelligence input, the troops in a special operation apprehended a smuggler along with 5600 Yaba Tablets worth Rs 28 lakh near Sukarurkuthi, Dinhata-II in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district.
The smuggler and the seized items were handed over to the nearest police station for further legal action.
