Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, on August 21, handed over Cinnamon Saplings under Spice Mission to farmers of East Garo Hills district.
The Chief Minister informed that the Agriculture Department is exploring the cultivation of different kinds of spices in Meghalaya after the success of the Lakadong Mission.
He also said that through the Spice Mission, farmers are given the support to further their ambitions.
