SHILLONG:
The Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills has directed all the managers/owners of respective hotels and guest houses in the district who have not yet registered their user IDs for submission of hotels, guest houses, lodges, rent houses and inns reports for online ‘C’ Form (C-FRO), should register at the Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills. Those who have registered their user IDs are also reminded to submit their report regularly within 24 hours of the arrival of foreigners without fail.
All the owners and tenants of private houses, boarding houses, hostels, schools, colleges, universities, churches, mosques, temples and hospitals are also asked to register if any foreigner resides or studies in their respective premises or institution, house and rented house. The authorities concerned should also register their arrival online through ‘C’ Form and ‘S’ Form for schools, colleges and universities and submit the same online within 24 hours without fail.
Further, the above authorities should submit the ‘C’ Form and ‘S’ Form to the office of the Superintendent of Police-cum-Foreigners Registration Officer, East Khasi Hills immediately about the visit, stay or studies of foreigners. Any infringement or violation of the above directives will invite stringent legal action as per the provision of Foreigners Act, 1946.
