NONGPOH:
The four-day long Shad Sohjer Ritual of Marwet concluded at 9th Mile, Baridua, Ri Bhoi district on January 20.
The ritual was performed by the Syiem of Raid Marwet in the presence of Basan Nongkseh and Mintri Langsteh, Doloi, Longsan of Raid Marwet and Hima Mylliem along with other traditional executive heads.
On the last day of the festival, prizes were distributed to partincipants who took part in various activities such as sports, dance competition, quiz, football tournament cultural dance and others activities.
Many well-known talented artistes from across the North East performed at the function making the ceremony grand and successful.
