JOWAI:
Despite recent repairs by the authorities, the condition of National Highway 06 has deteriorated once again, the dismal condition, of which, is also visible from the Jowai by-pass.
Heavy rains that lashed parts of the state in the past couple of days triggered many minor landslides in this area, causing disruptions in vehicular movement in the Lumshnong and Narpuh areas.
On these routes, reports of traffic congestion are frequently followed by reports of potholes and unevenness on the road.
