Dima Hasao celebrates as district comes third in HSLC exams 

Dima Hasao recorded 88.12 pass percentage percent compared to 81.31 percent in 2022 though in the previous year Dima Hasao stood 2nd in the State.

HAFLONG:

Dima Hasao district of Assam retained its place in the top three positions in the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination, results which was declared on May 22. The district came third after Chirang and Sibsagar.

Dima Hasao recorded 88.12 pass percentage percent compared to 81.31 percent in 2022 though in the previous year Dima Hasao stood 2nd in the State.

Chirang district stood first with 88.68 pass percentage followed by Sibsagar with 88.40 percent.

This year, a total of 3216 candidates appeared, 1095 passed in 1st Division, in 2nd Div 2427, and in 3rd Div 312 out of a total of 2834 passed.

Chief Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa thanked the students, teachers, his council team, and officers for their efforts in helping them place in third with a percentage of 𝟖𝟖.𝟏𝟐% and achieve a better performance than last year after the district experienced numerous disasters that left students without schools.

Assam Power Minister Nandita Gorlosa congratulated all the successful candidates who had cleared the HSLC exam 2023. He also congratulated the top three districts Chirang , Sibsagar, and Dima Hasao with 88.12 % pass percentages.
