Nongpoh:
The opening ceremony of the District Level Inter School Football tournament (Subroto Mukherjee Cup) 2022, organised by the office of District Sports, kicked off at two venues at Umbuda and Umdihar football grounds, on June 27.
On the opening day of the ceremony, Saiden Higher Secondary School won the match 8-0 against Borkhatsari Presbyterian Secondary School at Umdihar football ground. On the other hand, under 14 (boys) Christian Higher Secondary School won the match by 4-0 Ribhoi Presbyterians Higher Secondary School.
President R B Shadap, Ribhoi District Sports Association along with Bobby L Nongbet, District Sports Officer (DSO) among others were present at the event.
