JOWAI:
The Mihmy TDU Community Social Welfare Association (MCSWA) officially inaugurated the Drop-In Centre for senior citizens at Salaroh Jowai on December 15 at the Faith Academy Campus, Moosalyngkat Salaroh Jowai.
Operating from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the centre provides an opportunity for seniors to gather, engage in discussions, and partake in various activities. Games, drawing sessions, songs, and other enjoyable items are among the offerings designed to enhance their later years.
The formal inauguration ceremony was conducted by Additional Deputy Commissioner DV Lyngdoh. The event saw the presence of MCSWA Director, Dr. JN Shullai, District Social Welfare Officer Ripaya Passah, and other distinguished guests.
