TURA:
A large quantity of narcotics, along with weapon and ammunition were seized from three persons in West Garo Hills during an anti narcotic operation in Garobadha region on December 4.
“Based on reliable source information, Anti Narcotic Task Force of West Garo Hills conducted an operation yesterday at Garobadha and recovered narcotics and weapons,” informed West Garo Hills Superintendent of Police Vivekanand Singh Rathore.
The seized items include 98 Nos. Nitcon10 tablets, 848 Nos. Tramadol Hydrochloride Acetaminophen and Decyclomine Hydrochloride Capsules.
Three mobile phones, a black air pistol, a live shotgun cartridge, a live 7.62 mm ammunition were also seized.
The vehicle with the consignment, a hatchback car bearing R/No. AS-01-AK-6596 was also taken into custody and three of the occupants arrested.
The arrested persons have been identified as Ranggam Marak, Sakwan Ch. Sangma, and Conrad K Marak.
