EasyDNS, a Canadian Internet service provider which supplies DNS and web hosting services, became the first Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) registrar to accept Dogecoin (a cryptocurrency invented by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer) as a mode of payment.
“Continuing in our tradition of being a cryptocurrency trailblazer, we are now accepting DOGE payments for all services,” the Canadian firm said.
The firm also stated that they were the first to embrace the various cryptocurrencies which are currently thriving in the market.
