SHILLONG:
Former MLA and ex-NPP leader from Ranikor, Martin M Danggo joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on February 1.
His entry into BJP was certain after hundreds of his supporters left the NPP on January 30 to join the BJP.
Prior to this, Danggo was named the NPP candidate from Ranikor but following a tussle between him and a few leaders of the party, Danggo called it quits and joined the saffron party today.
