TURA:
A father and his two children were critically injured after their two wheeler collided with a public bus near Jengal, on May 5.
The incident happened at around 3 pm when the father went to pick up his son (7) and daughter (10) from school, and encountered a head on collision with a public bus due to an obstruction of a bamboo grove on the road.
The bus bearing the number (ML08 H 8111) has been detained at Jengjal police station along with the driver.
Further, locals complained that state PWD has not cleared the bamboo grove on the turn despite many commuters experiencing difficulty in negotiating the curve due to visibility being obstructed.
The injured father and his son have been rushed to Tura civil hospital while the daughter is being treated at Jengjal sub divisional hospital.
