NEW DELHI:
The Union Health ministry has said that five districts in Meghalaya have been reporting more than 10 per cent weekly positivity, week ending January 26, amid a continuous spike in Covid19 cases.
“Five districts in Meghalaya, 28 in Assam, 20 in Arunachal Pradesh, 12 in Manipur, 8 in Mizoram, 7 in Nagaland, 5 in Meghalaya, 4 in Sikkim and 3 districts in Tripura have been witnessing weekly positivity of more than 10 per cent,” said Lav Agarwal, joint secretary in the health ministry here on Thursday.
Agarwal further said that 400 districts across India are reporting more than 10 per cent weekly positivity in the week ending January 26.
