NONGPOH:
The Ri Bhoi Watersports and Tourism Cooperative Society Ltd has selected four kayakers who will participate in the Malabar River Festival slated to be held from 22nd to 24th July 2022 in Calicut, Kerala.
The qualification round for selecting the participants was held on June 6, wherein the kayakers displayed their skills and got through the selection process.
While Pynshngain Kurbah (17), Kobek Mawnai (20), and Shiningstar Basaiawmoit (24) have been selected in the male category, Elizabeth Vincent (24), the only woman, has been selected in the female category.
Vincent had earlier in 2019 also won the first place in kayaking competition held at Slalom.
