SHILLONG:
The Adventurous Hynniewtrep Off-roaders will be organising the 4th edition of Ahor 4×4 off-road challenge from October 7 to 8.
Addressing a press conference on September 16, president of the organisation, Damien Umdor, said that the competetion will be held at Kharsati Park in Ri Bhoi district.
Participants can compete in stock and modified category for which the entry fees are Rs 6,500 and Rs 11,000 respectively, he said.
Those interested to take part in the competition can reach out to the group through Facebook.
General secretary, Ferdinand Jahrin, said that the club wants to see locals compete at the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) in Goa which is an international platform.
It was informed that the total prize money for the competition is Rs 2 lakhs.
They further informed that the club welcomes women’s participation, however, if the number of participants are less than three, they have to compete with men.
