ISRO shares images of moon captured by Chandrayaan 3

On July 14, India launched its ambitious third lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 in moon exploration.

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has shared images of the moon as viewed by Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft during Lunar Orbit Insertion (LOI) on August 5, 2023.

On July 14, India launched its ambitious third lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 in moon exploration. Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 to demonstrate end-to-end capability in safe landing and roving on the lunar surface.

Chandrayaan-3 consists of an indigenous Lander module (LM), a Propulsion module (PM), and a Rover with the objective of developing and demonstrating new technologies required for Interplanetary missions.
