The Jaintia Coordination Committee on Reservation Policy (JCCRP) in its meeting held on September 9, called ‘Ka Dorbar ki Khon ka Ri Jaintia’, has resolved to constitute a Core Committee to review the Reservation policy for Jaintia Hills and to come up with its views and suggestions before a memorandum is submitted to the Government.
The JCCRP general meeting at Ladthadlaboh Community hall, Jowai was attended by representative of the Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnongs, NGOs leaders and prominent residents of Jaintia Hills, including Advocate Erwin K Sutnga, Professor Philomat Passah, former JSU leader and a teacher, Garland Rymbai beside NGOs leaders represented from JSM, JSU, JYF and JNC.
Secretary JCCRP, Sambormi Lyngdoh informed that the Core Committee will be prepared taking into consideration all views and suggestions on the Reservation Policy for Jaintia Hills district.
