KHLIEHRIAT:
On the 51st Meghalaya Day, the East Jaintia Hills District received a major upgrade in its healthcare infrastructure as the District Administration arranged for the installation of an Ultra Sonography Machine (USG) at the Khliehriāt Civil Hospital through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds from the North Eastern Transmission Company (NETC).
The machine was officially inaugurated by the EJH Deputy Commissioner, Abhilash Baranwal, in a ceremony attended by several dignitaries including NR Singh, the representative of NETC, A Singh, IAS (SDO Sadar), J Shylla (ADC Health), and Dr D Shylla (DMHO).
“The presence of the USG machine will greatly improve the medical services provided to the residents of the district, eliminating the need for them to travel to other districts for basic diagnostic tests,” Baranwal said.
