SHILLONG:
The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) as well as the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), on March 6, felicitated the Meghalaya Football team players on their victory where they emerged as runners-up against Karnataka for the Santosh Trophy.
The KSU felicitated the players at Mawlai petrol pump and the FKJGP at Jorabat.
It was a huge moment for the Meghalaya team, as it created history by qualifying for the Men’s National Football Championship.
Even though they did not bag the trophy, it was a match of spirited effort and contentment for the people of Meghalaya.
