SHILLONG:
The Khasi Students Union North Khasi Hills District Unit (KSU NKHD) on October 9, 2022 felicitated 7 participants who had won gold medals in the kickboxing in National Youth Game Championship 2022.
The Participants who won the gold medals were Johny Nongrum, 85kg, David Rynghang 75kg, Sebastian Nongrum 60kg, Anthony G Momin 57kg, Ibanker Wahlang 55kg, Albin G Momin 54kg and Bracil Kylla 50kg.
Wanphrang Mawthoh, president, KSU Byrnihat circle congratulated the fighter for their efforts. “I know it’s hard to get a gold medal in the national level, but your hard work has paid off and now the medal is yours,” he said.
Johnny Nongrum, sports secretary of the KSU NKHD at the same time, also the medal winner expressed his gratitude towards the union for the felicitation. “The Khasi Students Union is my Inspiration to win gold medal and bring the glory for my homeland and my Hynniewtrep,” he said.
