SHILLONG:
Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School,Shillong hosted the 1st Inter School Quiz Competition-2023 in which nine schools of Lumparing and Laban area participated.
The programme started with the welcome speech by the headmaster of the school Ajoy Kumar Das who motivated the students to take part on such events.
While Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School won the quiz competition, Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School bagged the 1st Runner up title, Rilbong P N Chaudhuri Higher Secondary School and Queenie Secondary School were declared the 2nd and 3rd Runner up respectively.
The schools that participated in the competition included: Lumparing Vidyapith Secondary School, Lumparing Presbyterian Secondary School, Laban Bengalee Boys Higher Secondary School, Thomas Jones Memorial Secondary School, Queenie Secondary School, Laban Bengalee Girls Higher Secondary School, Laban Assamese Girls Higher Secondary School, St John Higher Secondary School, Rilbong P.N. Chaudhuri Higher Secondary School.
