AITC supremo, Mamata Banerjee criticised the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre on Tuesday, calling it “worthless.”
“Worthless, baseless, faceless, and from what I can tell, this money denotes that the case has been lost. Now, according to the Reserve Bank, inflation levels are exceedingly high. The cost of petrol, diesel, gas is quite high, and the government and even the party are merely collecting money for their own use”, Banerjee told reporters.
She also slammed the government for adopting a resolution that forbids any discussion of the funds raised through PM CARES Fund.
She said, “The PM CARES, the party people are giving, not only party people, the industries and others also have donated the money but they have passed a resolution that nobody can question about the money and that there will be no audit. If everything is audited in our state or other states why it will be free (for them). So what they say they do other things. It is only their vendetta that is political nothing else. ”
