A man from Meghalaya’s West Garo Hills district was arrested for carrying explosive materials without any valid documents, at Assam’s Goalpara district on April 16.
The incident took place at Paikan under Krishnai police station in Goalpara district.
The individual has been identified as Abdul Malek (39) from Rajabala in West Garo Hills.
He was carrying a consignment of explosive materials, including gelatin sticks and detonators in a passenger bus.
