Nepo was a very proficient and ace aeromodeller who had represented the Northeast, NCC Directorate at the national level and won awards. He also participated in an article writing competition and has got prizes at DG, and NCC levels.

“Nepo followed all the advice and guidelines meticulously, worked hard, cleared the written exam of AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) and got selected in the SSB (Service Selection Board) easily,” Vishoyi said.

“Although he belongs to an economically, not so sound family, it didn’t undermine his determination from aiming high and work hard. He completed his training schedule successfully at the AFA and got commissioned to serve the country as a defence officer. He has also proved the fact that the cadets of the Northeast are no less,” he added.
