The Dorbar Shnong of Bhoirymbong, Lumdaitkhla, jointly with Lumdaitkhla Socio-cultural Sports Club felicitated two girls from the state who had represented India in the Indo-Nepal international youth Futsal Cup held recently in Nepal.
The two girls Liza Muktieh from Bhoirymbong and Fragnancy Riwan from Lawbah Mawsynram, were firstly felicitated in Guwahati by T.Rympei, headman of Bhoirymbong in the presence of their family members, and later upon arrival, Byrnihat police felicitated them at Byrnihat police outpost.
According to the Dorbar Shnong, the girls have made the state proud by winning the championship for India, which will inspire other girls in the region to take up football and equally excel like them.
