The Election Commission of India (ECI) on January 18 announced the Assembly Election schedule for Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
While Meghalaya and Nagaland will go to polls on February 27, elections in Tripura will be held on February 16.
The date of counting for all the three states March 2.
For Meghalaya, the date of issue of Gazette notification is January 31, the last date of filing nominations is February 7, date for scrutiny of nominations is February 8, and last date for withdrawal of candidatures is February 10, the ECI said.
