SHILLONG:
Meghalaya’s Got Talent (MGT) officially kicked off its fifth season last year. The reality show, which aims to discover hidden talents from every district of the state, began with mega auditions on October 23, 2022. These auditions drew a diverse group of participants from all over Meghalaya.
After several rounds of intense competition, the contest made it to the semi-final round on Saturday, that took place at Pine Mount School in Shillong. A total of 22 semi-finalists competed for a spot in the final round, and 10 have made it to the final round. It is in the finale where they will have the opportunity to showcase their talents and vie for the top prize. 
The semi-final round saw participants performing in front of a panel of judges consisting of Sanat Basaiawmoit, Jolly Borah and Gracyl Ropmay, who evaluated their performances and selected the finalists who advanced to the final round of the competition. The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize amount of Rs 2 lakh and the title of Meghalaya’s Got Talent 2022.
The semi-final round was a highly competitive event, as all the semi-finalists demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication. The public was invited to come and watch the semi-final round and support the talents.
The organisers, Meghalaya Talent Search Organization are confident that the competition will continue to unearth hidden talents and provide a platform for the people of Meghalaya to showcase their skills and abilities.
