MEGHALAYA:
A person named Ibrahim Ali hailing from Kaki Major Gaon in the Hojai district of Assam was found dead inside a ditch about 70 feet deep on March 31.
He was working as a labourer in a coal mining site at Sutnga Bazar in West Jaintia Hills.
His body was brought to Kaki on Saturday.
A post-mortem was conducted on his body on Sunday and sources said there was a cut mark on his throat.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection at Kaki police station.
