MSME conducts awareness programme on Zero Defect Zero Effect

The main motive of the session was to bring awareness to the business owners about the benefits of the ZED Certification and difference between and other quality certifications.

The development and facilitation office of the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Shillong organised an awareness programme on Sustainable (ZED) Certification, Zero Defect Zero Effect, at the meeting hall of the District Commerce and Industries Center (DCIC) in Nongpoh on December 13.

SS Barua, assistant director, MSME Guwahati, was the resource person along with H. Decruse, general manager DCIC, Ri Bhoi district, and the programme was attended by many entrepreneurs and representative of industries in Ri Bhoi district.

Barua as a resource person explained about the benefits of the ZED Certification and the process of registering with MSME ZED Certification.

“You can apply for ZED Certification with just a few easy steps, and you will be able to gain a huge package of benefits from this certificate,” Burua said.

He also made a presentation on how to apply for the ZED Certification.

Meanwhile, Decruse encouraged the entrepreneur, proprietor and owners of various industries to register for ZED Certification and avail the benefits of the certification.

After the speech of the resource persons there was an interactive session between the officials of the MSME and the proprietors.
