SHILLONG:
Member secretary of Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MSPCB) R Nainia Malai, on September 13, informed that the board has deferred the interview for multi-tasking staff (MTS) post as a large number of candidates turned up for the interview which was not possible to complete in a day.
“427 candidates turned up for nine multi-tasking staff posts and they registered. So, we have deferred the interview so that we can work out on the dates,” Malai told media persons.
Malai informed that the interview was not possible to complete in one day as it was difficult for a single board of 4 members to interview 427 candidates.
He said that the board will discuss the issue with chairman, scientists, and member secretary on the next date of the interview.
