The All Meghalaya Karbi Association condoled the death of five people who were killed in Mukroh firing incident on November 22.
Speaking to The Meghalayan, general secretary of All Meghalaya Karbi Association, Bistocan Timung said that the association condemns the barbaric act of Assam Police that led to the loss of innocent lives.
Timung urged the government to provide justice for the departed souls and that assurance should be given that this kind of incident will not happen again.
He also added that the Meghalaya government should strengthen the police force in the border areas for the safety of the citizens.
