SHILLONG:
National Commission for Minorities member Rinchen Lhamo, who is on five-day trip in Meghalaya, discussed the implementation of various schemes for the welfare of the minorities in the state.
She held a review meeting with the East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and senior officials at DC office in Shillong.
In the meeting, she discussed the implementation status of various centrally sponsored/state sponsored schemes for minorities’ welfare and redressal of the grievances.
