NONGPOH:
The St Michael Higher Secondary School Past Pupils’ Association, Umsning, has decided to organise a meeting for all former students on December 16 to discuss various initiatives aimed at enhancing education and knowledge for current students.
The meeting will start at 9 am in the school hall. According to Balumlang Nongbri, the publicity secretary of the association, the day will include the felicitation of retired teachers, along with other talks and discussions. The association invites all past students to participate, emphasising the importance of collective involvement in making the event successful.
The primary goal is not only to honor retired teachers but also to address pending tasks and work towards further advancing education in the school.
Nongbri expresses hope that the participation of past pupils will serve as encouragement for both the school administration and current students with an aim to gain recognition for the school and shine in providing quality education.
